There wasn't much for me to do past the end of June except wait for the quarter panel from Oregon to come in. Once it got sent on an airplane to the shipping center, we had to go pick it up. I personally thought it was hilarious that the folks there were eyeing me and my mom, glancing towards their manager, wondering if they could claim the "$100 reward for reports on any non-UPS persons seen" sign. After that whole 3-4 hour adventure, we got home and unboxed the quarter panel to discover that the guy scammed us. Yes, we got a quarter panel, but his pictures had been taken in the perfect lighting and his description was a farce. Our hopes of a quick replacement quarter were gone, and we were left with a mountain of body work and fabrication.
